| He was taken while scouting in Nuaanu. I walked up on him and took the shot from about 5 yards away. He charged, but luckily changed his mind and turned back away from me just before he hit me. I don't have any scales, but I'd guess his weight around 140 or so with 1&1/2 inch cutters showing. Hope to get more this size, but with bigger tusks!! Thanks again for your web page. Mahalo, Mark |

| I shot this mouflon on Lanai at about 12:15 in the afternoon while eating my lunch over looking a big valley. A couple of other hunters was shooting at him but he was able to escape with his speed. I was able to knock him down while he was at full stride going down the valley wall with my 7mm Remington Mag. He measured in at 29 in. dried out by the SCI club. | Aloha, this 110# boar was caught in 3 Puka with Howard Nahooikaika, Mike Almeida, and Jeffrey Nistal. We all brought some of our dogs and they grabbed this one deep in da puka. Had hunters all over that day. The 3" hooks is his and when puka 3 dogs, right through the cut collars. The sow was caught in Kawailoa on a after work quick hunt. | Aloha, here are some pictures of a 120# boar caught on April 27th. Hunters are Mike Almeida, Brada Nistal, Gal Pasion, and Jeffrey Nistal(not pictured). The dogs flushed him out of the tangle ferns and Mike shot him trying to sneak away. Was caught in the Opaeula area above Haleiwa. Thanks, Mike Almeida...... |

| What's up guys, here is a picture of my dad and brother who got this good size boar. This one was a fighter he killed one of my dads dogs and chopped up the rest pretty good. My dad and brother had to cut this one in half inorder to carry it out. They were about 2 miles from the truck. I hope you find these picture cool. From some of the boys all the way from Puna on the Big Island. |
